Engine Failure On Lough Derg

Killaloe Coast Guard Unit was tasked to a 24' Sea Ray that had engine failure and were in danger of being washed ashore. The Rescue Helicopter which was on maneuvers in Killaloe for St Patrick’s Day responded along with Killaloe Coast Guard. Both the Rescue Helicopter and the local Coast Guard Rescue Boat Dalton” arrived on scene together The Motor Cruiser with its two male occupants where towed to Derg Marina Safely.
