Killaloe Coast Guard were tasked by MRSC Valentia when a member of the public reported a boat adrift on the lower lake with no visible person on board. Killaloe Coast Guard Unit launched their rescue rib " Dalton" to the scene. The craft was located with no sign that anyone was or had been on board. The crew towed and moored the 15' Lake Boat nearby and returned to base.
The Killaloe Coast Guard would like to advise boat owners to check their moorings as water levels have dropped and knots can come loose.
