Killaloe Coast Guard Unit was tasked to a 26' Timber Cabin Cruiser that had run aground between O'Briens Bridge and Clonlara and was taking on water. The Skipper owner and three children were taken to safety. All nearly 3.5 hours using coast guard salvage pumps all efforts to re float the boat failed.
