Killaloe Coast Guard Unit was tasked by Valentia Marine Control Center when a report from members of public to Killaloe Gardai of a boat acting dangerously on Lough Derg at Twomile Gate nera Killaloe, Killaloe Gardai requested assistance from Killaloe Coast Guard Unit in Locating the boat. After investigation nothing was found.
The Killaloe Coast Guard unit would request that all Power Craft owners obey the speed restrictions near slipways and keep well out from the shore line to avoid swimmers. With a little courtesy the water can be enjoyed by all members of the public.
