Killaloe Coast Guard was by tasked by MRSC Valentia, to assist Doolin Coast Guard and Ennistymon Gardaí in the search for a missing person. The Shannon based Coast Guard helicopter, Rescue 115 , was also tasked . The team assembled at the Cliffs of Moher and deployed search teams from there, covering the coast line north and south of the area. The SARDA search dog with Doolin Coast Units., Killaloe Coast Guard Unit and Rescue b115 from Shannon searched inland areas. The missing person was recovered on Day six of the search at the base of the cliffs.
