Two Anglers towed to safely to Killaloe

 Killaloe Coast Guard Unit was tasked to assist a 16’ lake boat that had broken down off Tinneranna Bay on Lough Derg. The boat with two male non national anglers on board had no oars or life jackets on board.

The boat which was hired from a local fishing holiday operator was in shallow water when Killaloe Coast Guard rescue boat arrived, the two male anglers were taken off their boat which was then taken in tow to Killaloe.
