Killaloe Coast Guard were tasked when a cry for help was heard by Lough Derg Coast Guard Radio. No further contact could be made. Water & Land Units from Killaloe Coast Guard with the Rescue Coast Guard Helicopter and the RNLI at Dromineer carried out an extensive search of the Lake from Killaloe to Portumna and south to Ardnacrusha. Nothing was found. Search stood down.
