Killaloe Coast Guard were tasked to a Sea Ray speed boad that was being wased against the rocks at Lady's Castle near Parkers Point. The four passangers had no life jakets or safety equipment on board, and had quite a lot to drink. The Killaloe Coast guard had difficulty getting close as the water was very shallow combined with very windy conditions. The Shannon based Coast Guard Helicopter was put on standby, a member of Coast Gaurd crew entered the water and attached a rope to the injured boat which after some difficulty was towed to Garrykennedy were the Gardai from nenagh took over.
