Taking on Water

Killaloe Coast Guard were called 05th of May 2008 at 15:40hrs to assist a Mastercraft speedboat that was taking on water at Clarisford on Lough Derg. The two persons on board and their craft were towed to safety at Ballina Slip.

Everyone on board a pleasure craft of less than 7 metres in lenght and a personal watercraft (Jetski Etc) or being towed by one must wear a life jacket or a personal flotation device.
