Obstruction to Navigation

Killaloe Coast Guard Unit attempted to move a Speed boat that had broke its mooring and had sunk with its bow out of the water, The cleats due to water corrision came away from the craft which as a result of a strong flow was wedged under the bridge arch. As the craft was out of the navigation lane it was decided to leave it were it lay.

We would ask all boat owners to check on their moorings on a regular basis.
