Killaloe Coast Guard were tasked to a Bombardies Jet boat that ran out of fuel on the 11th of May 2008 at 18:00hrs just west of the Silly Isl. The craft and its 5 persons on board was towed safely to Killaloe. Weather was calm at the time.
