International Voyage is nearly halted at Killaloe.

04th of May 2008 Killaloe Coast Guard called to assist a 48' Cruiser which had sailed from the Algarve round by Portugal and up the Shannon. The craft with 4 persons on board got stuck at Killaloe Bridge trying to get to Lough Derg. The cruiser was just 1' too high.
The Killaloe Coast Guard added ballast and the Rescue Rib stood by to assist if needed.
After careful manouvering the craft was safely moored at Ballina Slip North of the Bridge to continue its journey up the Shannon.
