Killaloe Coast Guard Unit responded to a report from two different sources, of two vessels colliding at the Scilly Isles, smoke and persons seen in the water, assisted by Shannon Based Coast Guard Helicopter, Killaloe Gardai and RNLI Dromineer Lifeboat. After an extensive search of the area nothing was found.Task 3 2009
