Water Safety Education begins in our Schools

Killaloe Coast Guard operates school visits during the winter months to increase Public Awareness. Unfortunately over 180 people drown each year in Ireland. We feel that this is simply unacceptable considering that most fatalities are avoidable. We strive to reduce these fatalities by increasing water safety awareness, changing attitudes and behaviors so that our water environments can be enjoyed with confidence and safety.

Water safety awreness is not just for our Sea's, Lakes, or Rivers but include the Home, Farm, Building Sites and many more.

If you would like us to visit your School College or organistation please sent an email staing you school name and address, age group and a contact persons name and phone number, to killaloecoastguard@eircom.net.
