Killaloe Coast Guard were called to between the waters at 01:00am to suspected missing person in the water. Two boats were launched and the Coast Guard Helicopter from Shannon assisted.
The search was stood down at 04:00 to resume at 09:00.

A 36 year old male was recovered from the river shannon at 11:08.
