Killaloe Coast Guard were called by Killaloe Garda to a Sea Ray Sports boat that had engine trouble at Holy Island on Lough Derg. The five persons on board had no life jackets and were feeling the cold. The craft and its occupants were towed to safety at Mountshannon and a taxi was arranged to take them back to Killaloe.
