Killaloe Coast Guard were requested to assist Doolin Coast Guard in the recocery of a body from a ledge below the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare. The body could not be recovered from the water side of the cliff so Doolin CG with the assistance of Killaloe CG had to recover the remains from the Cliff side. The call for assistance came at 10:10 but due to tides the operation was not completed untill 16:00 approx.
