Killaloe Coast Guard was called 05/04/08 to remove heavy fishing nets which were a danger to navigation South of Killaloe Bridge at Forthenry. The nets were marked with white bouys as they could not be removed.(Navigation danger removed by Waterways Ireland on the 17th of April. Marine Notice No. 16 of 2008 is now withdrawn)
