At 00:30am this morning Killaloe Coast Guard was tasked to assist Nenagh Gardai to search for two missing children aged 13 & 14 years from the Portroe Nenagh Co Tipperary.They were last seen at 20:00hrs and had made a phone call at 22:00hrs. A large search party, involving Killaloe Coast Guard, Irish Coast Guard Helicopter from Shannon, Gardai and North Tipperary Civil Defence. The children were found safe and well at 02:00 this morning by a member of the Killaloe Coast Guard Unit.
